What is Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana? How to get benefit of this scheme? –  Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana  Gujarat Government implemented a new scheme Mukhyamantri Amrutam  Yojana Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana  on 4th September 2012  . Under the scheme, BPL families are provided health coverage up to Rs.2 lakh. Under the scheme, BPL families are given health coverage up to Rs 2 lakh per family for the treatment of critical illnesses. The scheme was initially implemented only for BPL families, but later this scheme included all those families whose annual income is less than 2.5 lakhs. Chief Minister Amrutam Yojana Under the scheme, the patients will be treated free of cost by the hospitals involved in the scheme. The hospital bill after the treatment will be paid by the Gujarat government. This scheme is completely cashless. The patients will not have to make any payment in the hospital and the government will also not pay the patients directly, but the government will pay the patient’s treatment bill directly to the hospital under the scheme. Since the scheme is completely cashless, rigging is not possible in this scheme. Only genuine beneficiaries can get the benefit of this scheme. Mukhyamantri Amrutam Scheme Its objective is to provide better medical facilities to the people of low income group. The people of low income group will also get the benefit of better treatment from the scheme. At the beginning of the scheme, the government has covered a total of 112 hospitals across the state. The beneficiary of the scheme will be given free treatment in all these hospitals. For the convenience of the beneficiaries of Amrutam Yojana, special counters have been set up in all the hospitals covered under the scheme. The operation and recruitment of patients admitted in these hospitals will be paid by the state government.

Highlights of Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana.

• Under the scheme, the government aims to provide better health facilities to the poor families as well.
• The scheme mainly covers those families who are not financially able to get themselves or any member of the family treated in case of serious illness.
• Most of the poor families are unable to go to the hospital for treatment due to the paucity of money, hence they die untimely.
• With this scheme, any family involved in Amrutam Yojana can get their treatment done without worrying about money.
• 300 rupees is provided to the beneficiary family as transportation cost to reach the hospital.
• This Rs 300 is immediately paid in the form of cash by the hospital administration to the family of the patient.
• Maximum 5 members from a family can get the benefit of this scheme.
• Health coverage up to Rs 2 lakh will be provided to each family by the state government.
• This scheme is fully funded by the Government of Gujarat.
• The entire system has been made online to make post treatment hospital claims easy and transparent.
• The treatment is paid by the State Government through RTGS directly into the account of the hospital.

Application Process to get Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana Card

• The Government of Gujarat has uploaded the list of eligible families for the scheme on the official website of Amrutam Yojana.
• This list has been prepared from the BPL list of Gujarat state.
• To apply for this scheme, kiosk centers are established in each citizen center and taluka. To apply, the applicant has to register his/her biometric identity at this centre.
• Along with biometric identification, other documents will also have to be submitted at that center.
• After checking the veracity of the documents and eligibility, the applicant

Maa Amrutam Card –  Amrutam card will be provided.

• Along with the card, a booklet will be provided to the applicant, which will contain the list of all the hospitals covered in the scheme.
• The card is used to identify the beneficiary. The photograph and biometric identification of the beneficiary are recorded on the card.
• Carry the card with you while going to the hospital, only then will the benefit be received.
• The benefit of the scheme can be availed from the day the card is issued.

Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana Key Points Of Meaning

Eligibility	Eligibility for BPL families is a beneficiary in this scheme but there is a condition in it to   be included in the district wise list of BPL families prepared by the rural and urban departments.
Process for Enrollment	If a  BPL family wants  to take advantage of this scheme, then they will have to report at the enrollment station  and  in the presence of an authorized officer, they will have to give the details of being the main   member   of the company .
enrollment value	No one, this scheme is for the beneficiaries because this  scheme is 100%  state financial funded scheme.
coverage value	The scheme also includes coverage price up to Rs.3 lakh (five members) per family on a floater basis   and transportation cost up to  Rs.300/  – through the scheme.
coverage (diseases)	Whoever is a beneficiary through this scheme can take advantage of cashless facility for specific diseases as listed below. Cardiovascular patients, neurological diseases, kidney diseases, cancer (malignant) poly-trauma, neonatal burns, burns, all these diseases include  544  procedures. , which is the follow-up treatment covered under this plan.
