Before the election in the state of Uttar Pradesh, many schemes were promised to the general people. After the election came to power and the government was formed under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. According to the promises made by the party, it is time to implement the various Yojanas or programs, for the development of the people from all sections of the society. One of the many schemes, introduced by the state government is the Bhagya Laxmi Yojana. And Vivah Hetu Anudan Yojana also has been started by Uttar Pradesh, specially for the poor  women of the society .

For the betterment of female group of the country, Central Government started Beti Bachao Beti PadhaoSukanya Samriddhi Yojana , Surakshit Matritva Scheme.

Announced By CM Yogi Adityanath

The scheme for ensuring the higher education of all the newly born children in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the Yojana has already been announced by the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath. The scheme has been announced by the CM just after he took up the head position. The official announcement came on 28th of March, 2017. If government reports are to be believed, the scheme will be implemented from the month of June, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria | Beneficiar Under the Scheme

The scheme has been introduced for the girl children of the state. The program has been launched for developing the sorry state of the poor sections of the society in Uttar Pradesh. The parents of the newly born girl child will have to produce proper documents for enrolling under the scheme.

Scheme Details and Benefits for Girl Child Under the Bhagya Laxmi Yojana

  1. Monetary bond :The scheme has been developed for the gild children, born in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The program will provide the girl with a monetary bond. This bond will be of Rs. 50,000. The amount will be given by the Women Welfare Department in the state for securing the education of the girl child.
  2. Installments Rules:The amount of 50,000 will not be given to the girl at one single installment. To make sure that the parents utilize the money in acquiring education for the girl, the money will be given in four separate installments.
  3. The first installment will be given to the girl when she will get admission in the 6th At this time, the government will provide the girl child with an amount of Rs. 3000.
  4. The second installment will be of Rs. 7000. The government department will provide the registered girl child with the specified amount when she gets admission in the 10th
  5. The third installment will be of Rs .8000. This specified amount will be handed over to the registered candidate at the time when she gets admission in the 12th
  6. The fourth and the last installment will be handed over to the girl for acquiring education in the college. The amount of Rs. 32000 will be granted to the girl, when she receives admission for completing her graduation.

Key Purpose Behind the scheme

One of the main concerns of the BJP government, under Yogi Adityanath, was developing the status and living conditions of the poor sections of the society. The state of the girl children in the area is bad. They do not get proper education. The CM of the state has pledged to change the sorry state of affairs and thus, he has introduced the Bhagya Laxmi Yojana in the state. This scheme has been introduced to provide financial assistance to the girl child so that they can get proper education and get a proper life. The scheme will secure the future of the girl child since birth.

Government Contribution

Though it is a state scheme, to be implemented in Uttar Pradesh, the central government will assist the state in the successful implementation of the Yojana. As the bond amount, allotted to every female child to be born is high, special measures have been taken in the central as well as the state budget. With the proper utilization of the funds, the state will be able to secure the future of the girls.

With the implementation of the scheme, the state will be able to secure the dream of every girl, of poor families, born in the state to complete their higher education. So, it is just a matter of time before the newly born girls of the poor families get the biggest birthday gift, from the state government.
